NORTH BALI

The North region of Bali has the most beautiful scenery and most striking attractions on the island.  Some of these attractions are well-known and considered iconic.  There is the stunning Balinese Hindu water temple of Ulan Danu on Lake Bratan, which is associated with the goddess of fertility.  There is Batur, one of Indonesia’s more active volcanoes.  During the past century, Batur has had a number of small eruptions every few years.  In addition there is the spectacular waterfall in Git Git and the less famous, but just as spectacular, one in Ambengan.  Also, among other attractions there are hot springs and quaint fishing villages and the Dolphinarium in Lovina.



For those who just want to lounge by the pool there are beautiful views of the Java Sea with its fishing boats, the lush foothills of the Bali mountains, the black sand beach in front of the Villa and in the distance the volcanoes of Java.
